Hi, I'm Eric.

I like building things. You know that time in your life where you got obsessed with legos and you had to build everything out of them? And you played with them so much that your parents had to yell for you to come eat dinner? And your fingers bled from pressing the pieces together?

OK, maybe not, but mine did, and I don’t think I ever grew out of that phase. I’m still playing with them now - it’s just that the designs are bigger, and the pieces are more complicated. So far, I’ve been lucky enough to work on some really cool legos with some really talented people, and I really hope that luck holds out.

I received my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2013. While there, I taught rock climbing classes, led backpacking trips, raced bikes (the human-powered kind), worked at a student union, and studied when I could.

Outside of work, I still enjoy climbing and cycling, and I’ve now added skiing to that list. I also like working on photography and projects of personal significance, most of which I share on this site.

I live in San Jose with my wife, Jill, and our cats, Joey and Cera.
